Commission by Sluggans Woodland Park

Portree, Skye 2003

These sculptures are the result of a commission in 2003 by Sluggans Woodland park, a community owned park in Portree on the Isle of Skye. One set of three aluminium photographic panels set low in the ground hints at the history of this site.  The other set of three act as seats beside a burn, the words ‘ice, water, ice’ inscribed relating to the function of the old ice dam.
