This year I am having two exhibitions and two workshops in the Fanks Studio space -

EXHIBITIONS –   Both exhibition opening times are  Mon to Sat 11 to 4 and Fri 6 to 8 (other times by arrangement)

‘Rapt containment’ – Mon 27th May to Sat 8th June

A two part exhibition which reflects on and resonates with forms of containment explored through sculptural works using various media. This exhibition will be at Fanks Studio and Three Camuslusta at the same time.

‘release’ – Thur 20th June to Sat 6th July

Exhibition exploring ideas of openess and expansiveness using the photographic medium.

The artist’s are: Caroline Dear, Anne Corrance Monk, Suzy Lee, Olwen Shone

WORKSHOPS – Two 1 day bookmaking workshops with Corinna Krause

Fri 7th June –  Concertina book with pockets (includes making decorative paper to use for the book).  More Information

The studio is open by appointment.  I welcome commissions and enjoy making work specifically for particular places both indoor and outdoor.  Please email me in the first instance to discuss any ideas you may have.

Studio Fanks is 12 miles from Portree on the A87 and then A850 to Dunvegan, Fanks is 1 mile before Edinbane. The studio is on the left, it is the house closest to the sea and just before a sharp left hand corner. (limited parking)
